PLOT creates a unique opportunity for a new generation of Black and Jewish college students to convene in a community forum to meet each other, identify issues of bigotry, engage in courageous conversations, and build future alliances to fight racism and antisemitism through activism and advocacy.
The PLOT Leadership Forum will bring 20 Black and 20 Jewish College students together for a Leadership Forum. The PLOT Leadership Forum will bring 20 Black and 20 Jewish College students together for a Leadership Forum. These emerging leaders from 4 Historically Black Colleges and Universities and 4 predominantly white universities will participate in a meaningful dialogue to foster inter-group Black- Jewish relations, discuss mutual concerns about rising hate (i.e. racism and antisemitism) towards their respective communities, and to plot a plan of action to combat hate in their local communities.

Interested student participants must meet the following criteria:
Black or Jewish student enrolled in participating schools
Current Sophomore or Junior
Leadership Experience
Ability to participate in the Leadership Forum
Be recommended by a college professor or administrator

1. There will be two opportunities for student participants to get engaged, hear from subject matter experts, and interact with each other.
a. There will be an Orientation for PLOT Fellow on March 25 or 26. This virtual forum will give our cohort the opportunity to get to know each other, get introduced to the purpose of the program, and to lay the foundation of learning and collaboration.
b. Our main program will be an in-person forum on April 15-16. The curriculum will focus on the following core areas:
Our goal is to educate PLOT participants to become more aware and conscious about how social justice issues (racism and antisemitism) mutually effect Black and Jewish college students and motivate them to be agents of change on their college campuses. and their local communities.
Virtual Orientation: Group 1 - March 25 and Group 2 - March 26
This virtual forum will give our cohort the opportunity to get to know each other, get introduced to the purpose of the program, and to lay the foundation of learning and collaboration.
In Person Leadership Forum: April 15-16
Our main program will be an in-person forum on April 15 and April 16. The curriculum will focus on the following core areas:
Educate PLOT participants to become more aware and conscious about how social justice issues (racism and antisemitism) mutually effect Black and Jewish college students and motivate them to be agents of change on their college campuses.
Black and Jewish college or university students are eligible to participate. Interested students should apply above or request an application at johneaves@plotleaders.org
